NEVER FREEZE OR MICROWAVE SLIME

Common Questions about Slime

Is Your Slime Non-Toxic?

This question boils down to how you define Toxic?

The simple answer is that NO Slime is truly 100% non-toxic because the activator is either small amounts of Borax diluted in water or contact solution. Both methods contain small amounts of Sodium Borate. In large quantities Sodium Borate is toxic, in small quantities it is safe but not fully non-toxic, at least in our opinion.

The glue we use is non-toxic.

Most of our coloring agents are labeled non-toxic except color shifting and thermal changing colors, but again they are considered safe just not non-toxic in the true pure definition of the word.

The scents we use are food grade, non-toxic, but please don't eat it no matter how good our Slime smells.

Just like anything in life exercise common sense when handling slime and supervise children when playing with it.

It is also recommend children under 3 or those with disabilities who put non-edibles in their mouths not use or play with Slime until they no longer mouth non-edibles.

So if you have teens who eat Tide Pods don't buy them our Slime either, or anyone's for that matter.

How to use Slime safely and make it last.

Before playing with Slime wash your hands!

Do not introduce germs in your Slime and breed bacteria.

Use soap and water but don't dry your hands.

Dry hands will even make dry Slime stick a little.

If you use hand sanitizer wet your hands with water before handling the Slime. Alcohol will dry out your hands and over time your Slime.

Always store your Slime in an air tight container or storage bag.

Never freeze or microwave slime.

***I do sometimes give samples in little food cups that save microwavable on the lid, that is the food container supplier saying their cups are microwavable not our slime***
